Well, I really messed this up Eleven minutes is a far cry from thirty. And I didn't realize until I got home that I had to put a blog with the video. Nice.
Mama was right . . . haste makes waste.
I really struggled with putting this project together. It was a challenge creating a thirty minute biographic monologue that utilized only the vocabulary and structural themes that we have used thus far. (As it was, probably 25% of the vocabulary I used was outside the first two chapters.) Everything that I thought of beyond what I put on video today was either repetitive or just plain silly.
As I look over what I offered today the only thing I think I could have added would have been some "clothing" elements.(e.g. "My wife has brown pants and pink shoes." or "My daughter has a green jacket she wears with a red hat.") or something that involved turning off lights or closing windows. I'm sure I'm missing something - I just don't know what it is.
After reading some of my fellow students blogs I realize that I should have used a LOT more fingerspelling.
I would welcome any comments that anyone has that would help me do better with this kind of assignment in the future.
